Learning Skills In Schools (LSIS) Teen Mental Health

Description:
The Department of Parks and Recreation would like to notify the community of the Teen Mental Health workshop on Friday, March 1st from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This will be at the City of Deerfield Beach Teen Center. Address 1345 SW 11 Way Deerfield Beach FL 33441. Parents/caregivers and students (ages 14-18) will address the rising rates of depression and anxiety in teens and explore the difference between acute emotional experiences and these more chronic mental health conditions.
If your teen is not a member and you would like to come with them for this workshop please register through CivicRec. If your teen is a member simply give us a call to confirm your attendance.
Please note that no small children are able to attend this workshop. This is for teens and their parents/caregivers. We appreciate your understanding.
